Clean Teeth= No Snacking

Years ago, I was reading an article in a magazine about what celebrities do to keep from snacking all day. One celebrity said she ate until she felt full and then she stopped (don't they all say that?), another one said that she just kept busy all day. I don't remember who said what but I clearly remember what Pamela Anderson said because it was something I had never thought about but often did! Funny how you do things without realizing it.

Pamela Anderson says she brushes her teeth in order to keep from snacking during the day. She said she didn't want to get her teeth dirty and food always tastes weird after you brush your teeth. And you know, she's right!
So not only will brushing your teeth keep you from getting cavities, but it'll also help trim your waistline.

It's actually good to eat through the day to keep up your metabolism. Light snacks are a good thing according to my trainers.

I agree about brushing your teeth after eating. I know once I eat I'm eating again within a half hour and brushing helps me stave off those times when I'm not really hungry just bored and craving junk.

A solution for limiting the servings of chips that my husband does. When he buys a bag I get out the scale and measure out a serving and put them into individual bags then hide them. When he wants chips he has to ask me to get them for him. No more unconsciously eating a bag of chips until it's empty.

Dee that is great advice! I love the idea about putting a serving of chips into individual bags. I'm going to try that with my son!

Karen, I am glad you brought that up. I don't want people thinking they should starve themselves to be thin. As a matter of fact, I think I'll blog about this. Thanks for the idea and thanks so much for the comment! :)
You're right. But it's not good when people snack on junk food through out the day (like I used to). Some people (like the old me)don't know how to stop and instead of eating a few chips will eat 2 or more servings without realizing it.
